About Me
Biography of the ArtistMarielle P. Kokosidou was born in January 23th of 1984 in Thessaloniki, Greece. She has received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master degree in Philosophy & Pedagogue. She is a Microsoft Office Specialist Master Instructor (MCT) and has a Bachelor degree in Fashion Design. Marielle has been teaching in Kindergarten for four years. She has previous teaching experience as a Private Kindergarten Teacher in Early Childhood Special Education and New Technologies. She has participated to various colloquiums on Arts and Crafts, Special Education, Math Skills, Early Literature, Environmental Awareness etc. Marielle P. Kokosidou has also been acknowledged as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator. Since she was a child she has been experimenting with different kinds of traditional and digital media, searching for a new perspective in art. She is engaged in a continuing process of self-examination, and her works are created out of a need for personal resolve, providing a window into her world. Her creations are considered innocent, yet emotional and complex reflecting the artist’s multifarious spirit. Marielle P. Kokosidou's works have been featured worldwide in magazines, books, websites related to art.

Hi Marielle, I haven't forgotten about you and I appreciate the comments and questions about my career!
Things are going well. I'm teaching 2nd grade in a very rural area. I'm able to carpool with some other co-workers to save money and I have an apartment in a very laid-back, eclectic town. Within a few months I'll be applying to graduate school for a Masters in Instructional Technology. Classroom teaching is GREAT but since technology is my passion I plan on pursuing something in that field. Perhaps a technology trainer for schools or maybe ever a lab teacher for Elementary-Upper Grades. I'd like to retire as a professor. :-)
I hope you are enjoying the kindergarten position. It is an important role to fill. Turning the kids on to learning and modeling mannerisms - such an understated task! Looking forward to communicating educational pursuits with you in the days to come!

I find that the spices in life come from the most random of moments, so I'm glad that you did such a random thing. Otherwise, I'd of never gotten the chance to chat with you. I'm glad that you did enjoy it so much! If it can help brighten even one day, that's more than enough for me.
As for stating my comment for walling, I guess I just like to speak completely about how I feel about a piece. Granted, if I were to look at all of my comments over the years I'm sure some of them would seem fairly repeating. Yet, even despite this I try to comment to the best of my ability with the little knowledge I have of the artistic world. I've always felt strongly about expressing myself and I use to do so greatly with writing, so when I joined up with MT and AP it was natural for me to write the way I do. I can only hope I can get a chance to comment on your pieces. They truly astound me.
Until then, I'll be looking forward to a possibility of more random encounters.
