My personal rules:

a. Don't adore the "artist" but the "piece", otherwise you will end up not seeing what's in front of your eyes (mentally and spiritually...).
b. Don't instant fav something that is made without effort (and it is obvious there was no effort).
c. Don't feel amazed by a simple "smudged" (not painted + smudged) background. Smudging itself is easy, it is only time consuming, there's nothing artistic there.
d. Don't fav your friendlist only because it is your friendlist, point out the nice elements in their artworks and their flaws and ONLY then check the fav button.
e. Don't be a "sucker" cause you want your friends and/ or other artists fav you back. It is not ethical...
f. Don't force your friendlist to fav your works by asking them to do so (by commenting in their profile, sending them notes etc)...they are not blind, they can see what you've created, by hitting the "W" button on their profile style .
g. Don't force yourself and others to have your work get +100 favs/ comments, so that it will make you feel you are an artist. Those who act like this...know very well they are not good (Read a little bit of Vygotsky, Gardner and Piaget).
h. "True artists" and "true persons" are humble, patient, understanding, friendly and above all they have a supernatural power in their hands, combined with imagination, mixed with emotions and sensitivities...bursting out in a piece of paper (or in the canvas of Photoshop)

Enough said. Not a personal attack to anyone. Just thoughts through my own experiences.I am 24, old enough not to have the time to argue with the "X" person, so please, no flames...ok? Comments are mostly welcomed, you don't have to agree with me but i really don't want to read any bad words here XD, i am a teacher after all and i must set an example to youths...please help me out on this^^
